In This Webinar
People with disabilities continue to face barriers when trying to secure and maintain housing. The Fair Housing Act (FHA) is one of the most important federal civil rights laws protecting individuals with disabilities from housing discrimination. This third webinar in the series is designed to help tenants with disabilities understand their rights, and how to engage with service providers.
In this webinar, you will learn how the Fair Housing Act applies to disability-related housing issues, including reasonable accommodations, accessibility requirements, and protections against discrimination in renting, buying, or living in housing. The webinar will also provide practical guidance on identifying potential fair housing barriers and helping individuals with disabilities assert their rights.
