Susan Schwartz has over 25 years of experience working with the Department of Transportation. Since January 2005, Susan has served as the Manager of the Department’s Disability Resource Center (DRC); a centrally funded service delivery program for workplace accommodations for employees and applicants with disabilities. The Center provides accommodation services nationwide as well as information, technical assistance and support to the Department in its efforts to be inclusive of employees with disabilities through the Selective Placement Program, disability awareness and Section 508 education and outreach activities.
Prior to joining the DRC, Susan has held a variety of positions in the Office of the Secretary’s Human Resources Offices, including the Departmental Drug and Alcohol Program, The DOT Connection Center, Human Resource Operations and Special Programs.
Ms. Schwartz received her Bachelor’s degree in 1992 at the University of Maryland University College in personnel/labor relations.
